More and more companies are turning to big data engines to gain new insights into sensor based data, assets, processes and business systems for novel operational insights. The reality is that there is a hybrid world of local data and enterprise big data analytics and visualization required to support operations: local data for immediate and localized systems and operations, and big data for longer term and cross enterprise analysis to uncover correlations, trends, and patterns that may not be obvious at the time. This session explores best practices for data analytics and visualization, the latest visualization and analytics tools in the PI System, and new opportunities to leverage your PI Data for Big Data initiatives within the organization.
