California Independent System Operator
Brian currently holds the position of Manager, Energy Management Systems at the California Independent System Operator, which is a not for profit organization formed to oversee and operate the electric markets for the State of California. Prior to joining the California ISO in 2007, Mr. Cummins held various Management and Engineering positions within the SCADA, Energy Management , and Protective Relaying areas for Entergy Corporation which is a major public utility based in New Orleans Louisiana. Mr. Cummins holds Masters of Science and Bachelors of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Orleans.
