PI System 101: Basics for Beginners
Are you brand new to the PI System? An end user unsure of where your data comes from? A PI System administrator who needs to learn about new tools? Come to this session to find out what the PI System is all about, how the infrastructure can benefit your organization to deliver real value, and to see a high level demonstration of how customers work with our tools to gain insight into their processes. This half-hour session will give you the basics you need to understand many of the other presentations that will be available throughout the conference.
John Daniels joined OSIsoft in 2008, initially in the Learning Department and now as CSS Team Lead and Senior Systems Engineer in the UK. He moved to the UK 4 years ago and now specializes in working with new and potential customers on defining their architectures, use cases, and reaching their time series data goals. Daniels holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kansas and University of California – Berkeley respectively.
Craig Morrison joined OSIsoft 3 years ago and is a Customer Support Engineer in OSIsoft’s UK Team. While working in all related areas (Techsupport, Field Service, Learning), he soon detected his passion for teaching PI System Courses and evolved into a well-respected instructor, appreciated by customers and colleagues.
