Analytics and Notifications
A critical component of any real-time data system is the ability to notify the right people at the right time when operational excursions occur. PI Analytics and Notifications is the cornerstone of the PI System's alerting and analysis paradigm. This talk highlights some enhancements that are included in the PR2 release. These features include Internationalization, Notification Templates and Analytics.
Michael Hesselbach came from a small software engineering company to OSIsoft in 1998. He started with software development working on the PI Recalculator. He gained experience with Field Service: PI2 to PI3 migrations in Spain, the North Sea and in between, onsite training and training classes on PI ACE and Data Access. Michael is now back working in development on data access.
Beth McNeill graduated from Cooper Union with a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering in 2001. She went on to work at Kesler Engineering in New Brunswick, NJ. There she worked on consulting projects and started development of RtAlerts. Subsequently she moved to California and joined OSIsoft to continue development of RtAlerts. She then joined the PI Analytics and Notifications team and recently became development lead of the team. In her spare time she enjoys jumping out of airplanes.
