Under Dr. Kennedy's visionary leadership, the company has grown from a small startup in 1980 to a highly profitable global software corporation. In the early days, Dr. Kennedy's role included everything from sales to consulting. As the company matured, the role evolved into one of finding the right people to manage and direct the ever-growing company.
Prior to founding the company, Dr. Kennedy worked as a research engineer for Shell Development Company and as an applications consultant for Taylor Instrument Company.
Dr. Kennedy holds a B.S. and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kansas. A registered professional engineer in control systems engineering, he holds a patent on a catalytic reformer control system. He co-authored a chapter of the book "Planning, Scheduling and Control Integration in the Process Industries," C. Edward Bodington, ed. (McGraw-Hill Co., 1995), and is the author of numerous papers. Dr. Kennedy has many awards including the prestigious Silicon Valley Engineering Council Hall of Fame.
Jenny is responsible for operations as well as overseeing the management team of OSIsoft. Her strategic focus is to support the broader adoption and global growth of OSIsoft, building upon an installed base in more than 110 countries.
Jenny joined the company full time in 2001 and since then has worked in finance, recruiting, executive administration, management and operations.
Jenny holds a B.S. in Environmental Toxicology and a M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering, both from the University of California at Davis.
Bob oversees the functions of Customer Success, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, risk management, business support, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, internal audit, tax and facilities management for OSIsoft LLC and over 20 non-US entities.
Bob has over 33 years of business experience in finance, consulting and operational roles. As an executive leader and front line manager, Bob has developed and implemented strategies for risk management, process improvement, ERP selection and implementations, and acquisition and divestment transactions. Bob joined OSIsoft in 2007 and has worked closely with the senior leadership as an executive team member from the start. Prior to joining OSIsoft, Bob was CFO with C&H Sugar Company, a leading brand name in the food and beverage industry. Bob began his business career as a commercial banker and spent time in management consulting to the food and beverage industry.
Bob holds a MMA from the JL Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and B.A. in Economics from Bowdoin College.
Richard currently serves as OSIsoft's Chief Technology Officer focusing on long term strategic planning, business and technology alignment, strategic partnerships, alliances and research and innovation programs. Looking at today's challenges, Richard is exploring the benefits of employing operations information technology for societies, communities and industry to better understand and manage their relationship with resources, industries and commerce with the goal of helping these greater systems to thrive.
Richard began his career at OSIsoft in 1990 and has held the role of Chief Software Architect and Director of Engineering.
Dawn manages the strategy and execution of all things to do with employees at OSIsoft. She and her global team assist the company with hiring, employee relations, compensation and benefits, corporate policies and organizational development. Hiring the best talent, ensuring they have the right skills and the right work environment to thrive is critical to OSIsoft's success. She is a key element of maintaining the culture and expertise of OSIsoft while growing the employee base and helping existing employees at their OSIsoft careers evolve.
Dawn joined OSIsoft in 2007 as an HR Generalist and later worked with operations, sales, marketing and industry in various HR roles. Prior to joining OSIsoft, Dawn worked as a technical instructor for Accenture, managed the training organization at Avolent and was HR Manager at SAFE Security.
Dawn holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Davis and a M.S. in Political Science from the University of Oregon.
Chris leads the OSIsoft engineering teams on their relentless pursuit to connect sensor-based data, operations and people to enable real-time intelligence. At OSIsoft we believe people with data can transform their world and we are continuously enhancing the PI System to capture and leverage sensor-based data across the enterprise to improve efficiency, sustainability, quality and safety. Chris is responsible for the design and development of software systems at OSIsoft including all aspects of the PI System.
Chris joined OSIsoft in 2002 as a software developer focused on extending OSIsoft's position within the Life Sciences Industry by enhancing existing batch products and developing new products and capabilities. Prior to joining OSIsoft, Chris worked for Merck & Co., Inc., as a Technical Manager in both Clinical Trial Systems and Manufacturing Process Information Systems. Chris has demonstrated advanced expertise in streaming data and events infrastructure having designed manufacturing information and data analysis systems as well as participating in various control system implementations.
Chris holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Rutgers University.
Adam started his career as a Territory Account Manager with OSIsoft almost 19 years ago. Since then he has been the Southeast Regional Manager, VP of Sales of LATAM, VP of Sales of Americas (which includes Latin America and Canada), VP of US Sales and now is the VP of Global Sales.
He has 32 plus years of experience in the Automation and Software business. Adam's philosophy is to build teams and grow people. Prior to joining OSIsoft, Adam worked for Honeywell, Bailey Controls (now known as ABB) and Teledyne Analytics. At Honeywell, Adam was the Power Utilities account manager for the Southeast. At Bailey Controls, Adam was the Account Manager for the Southeast covering EPC companies and customers across all industries. At Teledyne Analytics, Adam worked in their Marketing department.
He holds a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University.
Jesus leads OSIsoft's Business Development strategy and team. Partner & Reseller , Industry and Market Development, Cloud & Edge practice teams under Jesus' guidance are responsible for the development and acceleration of new and existing industry and technology markets.
Jesus joined OSIsoft in 1997 as an Account Manager for Spain and Portugal. Jesus worked as Regional Sales Manager for Europe and later lead EMEA as Vice President. Before joining OSIsoft, Jesus worked for Schneider Electric in the Industrial Management Department.
Jesus attended the University of Salamanca, Spain, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Physics, specializing in Electronics and possess an Industrial M.B.A from E.O.I Madrid, Spain.
Gregg and his group are curators of the strategic product vision and roadmap for OSIsoft. His team works with customers, users, partners, and internal resources to gather requirements, feedback. These scenarios and use cases shape and align OSIsoft's product futures with technology and market forces. The OSIsoft Product group helps capture and represent the voice of the user both inside and outside the company.
Gregg joined OSIsoft in 1998 and has held many positions throughout his career at OSIsoft.
Gregg graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara in Chemical Engineering for both his Bachelor's and Master's of Science degrees. He is also a professional photographer and works with a number of non-profit theatre companies around California.
Rónán guides the Engineering Department through the technology challenges necessary to execute OSIsoft's strategy. He focuses on the non-functional aspects necessary to make technology successful and creating a holistic approach that combines both business and technical concerns. He also advocates for and supports a positive development culture by embodying the principals of agility and championing the needs of the Software Development community.
Rónán joined OSIsoft in 2001 as a Software Developer and over his tenure has taken on many different roles, all the way from individual contributor to Director of Engineering. Prior to joining OSIsoft, Rónán worked as a process engineering in the Metals & Mining sector.
Rónán holds a B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering from University College Dublin, Ireland.
Jason oversees all corporate, licensing, intellectual property and compliance initiatives. He played a crucial role in globalizing OSIsoft, establishing scalable business processes, and building the legal department to support the company's continued growth.
Jason first joined OSIsoft in 2002 as the company's first in-house attorney. Before joining OSIsoft, Jason served as OSIsoft's outside counsel at Perkins Coie and Fenwick and West. He was also the co-founder of a Partner Management SaaS start-up which was acquired in 2000.
Jason holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley where he graduated with honors and Phi Beta Kappa. He later received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law where he graduated Cum Laude, Order of the Coif and a member of the Thurston (scholastic honorary) Society.
Maria participates in the management of legal operations for OSIsoft, and manages the North & South American legal team.
Maria joined the OSIsoft legal team in 2011. Before joining OSIsoft, Maria served as legal counsel at boutique IP firms and briefly practiced administrative law.
Maria holds a BA in Political Science and Spanish from the University of California, Berkeley and later received a JD from Santa Clara University School of Law.
Dominic leads the Global Marketing and Technical Communication team. Teams for Product Marketing, Theatre Demand Generation, Corporate Communication, Events, Proposals, Customer Learning, Technical Writing and Digital Technical Content under Dominic's guidance are focused on accelerating customer success from the edge, to enterprise, to cloud.
Dominic joined OSIsoft in 2014. Dominic has spent over 20 years in SaaS, enterprise software and modeling & simulation technology companies leading marketing, product marketing and product management teams at Accelrys, Entelos, MDL and Symyx.
Dominic has a Ph.D in Biochemistry, a MSc. in Toxicology and a BSc. in environmental Biology from Cardiff, Birmingham and Swansea University respectively.
KimThu leads post-sales activities to serve OSIsoft customers worldwide. The post-sales activities cover four key areas: Customer Success Management, remote and on-site Technical Support, Managed Services, and Customer Service. Her charter is to ensure the effectiveness of customer onboarding, the success of customers using OSIsoft products, and customer retention. To ensure success, she is focused on building world-class employees who work cohesively as one team.
KimThu has held various positions throughout her 26+ years in the computer industry including Software Development, QA, Field Service, Support and Customer Success with the majority of her experience in Technical Support. She has the pleasure of working for Taleo, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Vantive, and Pacific Telesis to name a few. KimThu's broad experience includes leading a global team across multiple theaters to deliver support for both on-premises and cloud-based software, enabling and coaching talent, and fostering operational excellence. She has a passion for helping customers, as well as building effective teams, both of which are essential at OSIsoft.
KimThu has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis. In addition, she holds active certifications in PMP (PMI), Certified Customer Support (TSIA), and Certified Scrum Master.
