Retrofitting Aging Plants with Wireless Instrument at Nova Scotia Power
This presentation will review why Nova Scotia Power is currently investigating the use of wireless instruments to retrofit some asset classes that don't have primary instrumentation linked to the plant DCS.
Several different vendors and infrastructures are being reviewed with the intent being to build a menu of instruments suited to each asset class to be deployed in cookie cutter fashion.
