In this presentation IPCOS will present best practices gathered over a decade about exploiting maximally the PI suite for a state-of-the-art Digital Oilfield. They will discuss how to build performant and scalable PI AF models, how PI Analytics and PI Event Frames can augment both physical models and data-driven analytics and how PI Vision can expose the results of the Digital Oilfield to a wide audience. IPCOS will also discuss how the developer technologies of the PI suite, such as PI Web API and AF SDK, can be leveraged to complement the Digital Oilfield off-the-shelf solutions with minimal effort. These topics will be illustrated through various use cases and demos.
Denis Gauder, graduated with a MSc. in chemical engineering, has worked for over 10 years in the area of Digital Oilfields. His experience covers production systems modelling, data analytics, data integration technologies and engineering workflows design. Over his career, he has had numerous roles working for companies such as Total, BP, ExxonMobil, Lukoil, BG and others. Denis is currently leading the Digital Oilfield project delivery team of IPCOS and is responsible for solution design, implementation strategy and project delivery of DOF projects from IPCOS.
