Advanced Analytics for PI System data for Data Scientists
The PI System is the standard time series data infrastructure across several industries. Decades of operational data collection have turned each PI System into a treasure trove of information for data scientists to extract knowledge. Come to this talk and observe, as a data scientist, how you can access, shape, and use PI data to generate insight and knowledge. A good understanding of data science basics is required for this talk. No knowledge about the PI System is necessary.
Ahmad Fattahi is a leader of Data Science at OSIsoft. His goal is to enable digital transformation through data-driven culture, right tools, and proper processes. His technical focus is advanced analytics and data science. He received his PhD in electrical engineering from University of California, Los Angeles in 2008; he has been with OSIsoft since then.
Dallas joined OSIsoft in 2015 as a Customer Support Engineer after receiving bachelor's and doctoral degrees in chemical engineering from Northwestern University and University of Delaware. He started working with data during his graduate research, where he developed models for complex chemical reactions to improve reactor designs. While on support, he helped examine the impact of the new support model on case resolution. He specialized in supporting the Integrators starting in 2017, learning new ways our customers use PI data.
