The Center of Excellence (CoE) team will help define best practices for the PI System within your company. The CoE provides Value Engineering Advisory Services to enterprise customers to assure the best integration and use of the PI system infrastructure into the customer’s business process. These Value Engineering Advisory services focus on helping customers gain high value and minimal risk from their enterprise PI System infrastructure. The CoE team is comprised of personnel with industry domain knowledge and deep OSIsoft product knowledge, allowing the two companies to join together to around common goals and insights to maximize the value of the PI System infrastructure within your company.
The CoE team works with customers to define a Value Realization Plan (VRP) that provides a roadmap for how you can achieve Value Now, and extend to gain more Value Over Time. This plan is created jointly with our industry experts and your information technology and business leaders and users. The roadmap becomes the focus for rollout activities, installation, configuration and continuous improvement projects to help focus and drive benefits from the real-time infrastructure. Center of Excellence engineers develop technology roadmaps to address your changing needs and provide advisory support for designating and defining third party solutions. They provide general system support for industry-specific, context sensitive, and system-design oriented issues. The Center of Excellence can also assist and guide you on new and innovative PI System uses.
Once a roadmap is in place, OSIsoft is ready to support our enterprise customer throughout the execution phases of the value realization plan. The CoE provides project advisory services to define best practices for architecture, team structure, education and rollout strategies. In short, the CoE team is with you every step along the way from planning to value realization.
