Using AMR Data to Improve the Operation of the Electric Distribution System

This session will discuss and present techniques for using data collected by an Automatic Meter Reading System to improve the operation and management of an Electric Distribution System. Specific examples include the use of the PI System for Dynamic Load Management Modeling and Transformer Load Analysis Applications. The potential for using the PI System as a Technical Meter Data Management system will also be discussed.
