Role of the RtPM Platform in Entergy's Performance Monitoring & Diagnostics Center

Discuss how PI Data and tools form the foundation for Entergy’s highly successful Performance Monitoring and Diagnostics Center. The Center provides remote monitoring for over 30 of Entergy’s key Fossil units using a variety of methods, including Advanced Pattern Recognition Software from SmartSignal. OSIsoft tools used include PI AlarmView, PI ACE, PI DataLink, PI DataStorage, PI ManualLogger, PI Module Database and PI ProcessBook. Early detection and mitigation of equipment damage and unit outages are among the many ways the Center adds value for Entergy Fossil Plant Operations.
