Process Informant is a stand alone visual basic program that displays PI information in the form of a scrolling marquee. It displays Tag values under various headings. The Tags displayed as well as the headings under which they are displayed are setup by the user. The intention is to substitute for Processbook in cases where a light weight application can accomplish the same task. It is especially suited to those not directly connected to the process to see Key Operating Factors and Efficiencies e.g. Accountants, IT technicians that want a view into the business.
