JDEdwards OneWorld

The RLINK-JDE interface provides a gateway for the exchange of information between the plant floor (PI System) and J.D. Edwards’ ERP software such as OneWorldXe, ERP 8, ERP 9 etc.

Component Summary

The RLINK-JDE interface uses PI based equipment condition monitoring to automatically generate a scheduled PM (preventive maintenance) work order (WO) for a given asset and service type in JDE.

Technical Overview

The current RLINK-JDE release supports OneWorld Xe (B73.3), ERP 8 and ERP 9.

The following are the supported features in the current release:

Key Features

• Performing condition based maintenance using actual runtime and operating parameters from the plant floor to automatically trigger equipment maintenance.
• RLINK WebParts catalog for displaying JDE data (such as WO numbers and status) in ICE
• RLINK ProcessBook/ActiveView addins for using ProcessBook/ActiveView to use standard .PDI files as a GUI for point and click access to JDE equipment data with regard to operating conditions, the associated work orders and their status.

System Requirements

• Windows 2000 or higher Server Machine (for RLINK Server)
• RAM: 512 MB
• Storage: 2-3 GB
• Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or higher
• Microsoft Access 2000 or higher, Windows 98 or higher (for RLINK client used for configuration)
• PI System 3.x
• OneWorld Xe (B73.3), ERP 8 and ERP 9

Notes

• Older JDE releases such as World are NOT currently supported, but it is under review.
• No special vendor software is required since RLINK uses standard JDE interoperability tools for the integration.
