We at OSIsoft believe that the most important measure of our success is the value our customers realize from using our software products.

At its inception, PI was a single program used to measure operational trends and display them for operators and supervisors to track the behavior of their processes.  Today, the PI System is a number of integrated software programs. It's used by thousands of customers around the world to solve a multitude of operations problems as well as to give management real-time access to the critical operational information that's necessary to make appropriate and timely business decisions. 

We discovered a few years ago that many of our very satisfied customers were using PI to solve a narrowly defined slice of their operations problems.  They had received the expected “Value Now” from the PI System.  However, they hadn’t fully realized the extent to which the software they already owned could help them solve other operations problems or provide critical decision making information to management.  They had not yet realized the “Value over Time” benefits from the PI System.

• Application Report:  Describes the application of the PI System to a specific industry problem set.  This hour is intended to provide the customer with ideas and inspiration for building  similar applications of their own.  Application reports focus on the problems addressed, the results and benefits obtained, and typically will involve some direct customer examples and/or participation.
• Compliance Blueprint:  Briefly describes the concept of systemic compliance and results obtained by some of our customers, but focuses more heavily on how it was accomplished using the PI System.  Blueprints will be derived from studies obtained while working directly with customers through implementation and configuration, to first level testing.  The “blueprint” is essentially a recipe for accomplishing  similar results.
• Partner Spotlight:  Describes the ecosystem formed between OSIsoft, one of its partners and one or more customers.  Generally, these partners focus on a specific class of operations problems (e.g. OEE) or on a specific industry. Webinars introduce the relationship and describe for the customer how they might leverage the partner for their own benefit.
• Industry Focus:  Defines OSIsoft’s value add to a specific industry and what we’re doing with and for our customers in the space, and solicits active feedback from customers and prospects as to how the industry could get even greater benefit from our efforts.
• Platform Update:  Provides an update on features and benefits from product version enhancements and new product introductions, always with an eye on how the specific product(s) fit in the overall platform strategy.
• Security Minded:  Underscores the importance of MCN Health Monitor and the Industrial Data Center for our customers.
• Show me How:The OSIsoft Training Department is holding a monthly "Show Me How" Training Webinar for customers enrolled in the Software Reliance Program (SRP).  These are one-hour training events that explain how to use certain products to achieve specific solutions to problems.  These mini-courses are designed by senior training staff, often in direct response to popular questions from our customers.  To register for this Webinar, you will need to provide an SRP agreement number. To get this number, send an e-mail to orders@osisoft.com and request your SRP agreement number. There is a link on the registration page to help you create this e-mail.
