Nominees in the ML100 Sustainability category were evaluated based on their ability to demonstrate manufacturing processes that are non-polluting, conserve energy and natural resources and economically sound and safe for employees, communities and consumers. Previously known as the PM100 awards, Manufacturing Enterprise Communications renamed the program to Manufacturing Leadership Awards in 2011 to recognize leadership’s critical role to growth and health of the manufacturing industry and individual manufacturing enterprises.
