The OSIsoft NOC is used to monitor nearly 900 PI Servers and 2400 PI Interface nodes; it runs 24x7x365 because our EA customers are counting on their PI Systems all the time. Recently, the NOC has grown and is now over a million tags with over 300 GB of data online The NOC also includes a large PI AF structure as well as a custom analysis engine which runs thousands of calculations every 5 seconds. Bottom line: the OSIsoft NOC was expanding beyond the capabilities of the current system and they needed to upgrade to PI Server 2012.

Learn how the OSIsoft NOC upgraded its PI Server 2010 production server to PI Server 2012, the considerations and best practices they followed according to their architecture. See how PI Server 2012 can improve the reliability, performance, manageability and scalability of the PI System.
