The PI System is used to monitor limits for conditions that can damage, or have the potential to damage, equipment or can impair the operability of a system. The current operation of the unit/plant can be displayed against the defined limits, and when anomalies occur, potential causes, consequences and possible corrective actions can be displayed. Alarms and alerts can be configured to notify operations via email or pager when equipment is out of limits.
