Herb Falk

Mr. Falk has been involved in numerous projects involving the application of information systems technology and real-time communications technology to automated manufacturing, electrical distribution, automation, and power quality monitoring. Mr. Falk is a recognized expert on MAP, OSIsoft, UCA, information integration technology, distributed object technology, and the Manufacturing Message Specification (MMS) having served on and chaired numerous industry technical committees. He actively participates in IEC TC57 WG10, WG11, and WG12 whose scope is substation communications. He has been instrumental in the harmonization activities between European and US (e.g. UCA 2.0) concepts and technologies. Mr. Falk is currently assigned as Project Manager for SISCO's electric utility clients and has participated in utility integration projects at City of San Antonio Public Services, Detroit Edison, Consumers Energy, Kansas City Power and Light, Detroit Edison, and others.
