Pipelines Monitoring in Pemex
The purpose of this system is to integrate information from four divisions of Pemex: E&P, Refineries, Gas & Petrochemicals coming from different PI Systems and to show one version of the whole pipeline system in real-time. The system is accessible through their intranet using RtPortal and uses additional PI tools like PI ProcessBook, PI to PI Interfaces, PI SDK, PI ICU, PI SMT, PI Module Database combined with a GIS system based in ESRI. The system helps monitor the pipelines value chain from wells and rigs to final users across our divisional barriers improving operations safety levels, efficiency, reliability and integrity of our hydrocarbons transportation systems.
