RtWebParts Data Convergence in Cargill Deicing Technology
The presentation will review in detail the implementation of the RtWebParts project in Cargill Deicing Technology. The presentation will describe the review of: multiple data sources (Kronos, plant data, JD oneworld and manual data) converging and being displayed on a plant/business dashboard, the process of working with plant and IT, resources required and lessons learned, how multiple spreadsheets were consolidated into RtWebParts. This project will demonstrate how the consolidation and use of OSIsoft tools allowed them to automatically collect this data and provide it via the web on a timely basis.

Jim Pederson
Jim holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from North Dakota State University. Jim is President and COO of the TEC Companies. Jim is responsible for operations and strategic direction for TEC Engineering, Total Electric and TEC Industrial Services. Jim’s 20 years of experience in the industrial automation field includes various positions in application engineering, supervision and strategic account management with Cargill, Texas Instruments and Siemens. Jim’s wide range of experience with fortune 500 companies in the area of process control, automation and strategic technology planning provides a great depth of understanding in serving TEC’s customers.

Stan Pamel
Stan holds a B.S. degree in Mining Engineering. He began his career with Cargill as an engineer at Deicing Technology’s Cayuga Mine in Lansing, NY. He has since held various operations positions including mine superintendent and surface superintendent. He currently facilitates the Operations Technology Advancement Team, which seeks to apply new technology to Cargill Salt Industrial and Deicing Technology business unit operations.
