Ad-hoc Reporting Using the RtReports WebPart
OSIsoft’s powerful compliance reporting package is now available in a web part. The RtReports Report List web part allows you to generate reports from a SharePoint web page, including the opportunity for interconnection with other RtWebParts to dynamically generate custom reports by triggering connections made to the new report list web part. RtReports was designed to assure your compliance reporting can be carried out with a minimum of effort and a maximum of security. It is highly configurable and users have found that it has quickly become their standard non-compliance reporting tool as well. This talk will focus on the new enhancements in Version 3.2, especially the RtReports Report List web part and Report Parameters. With Report Parameters, you can now specify global variables at report execution time. We will show how configuring the new RtReports Report List web part with RtWebParts through web part connections and Report Parameters creates a highly flexible ad-hoc reporting infrastructure.

Tamara Carbaugh is the Product Manager for RtReports. Prior to joining OSIsoft, Ms. Carbaugh worked in training and technical support at Sequencia. Previous positions include production supervision at Morton and internships at Petro Canada, Novacor and Laidlaw Environmental. She received her Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
