Site Specification Management Using the RtPM Platform
OSIsoft offers a configurable software platform and system infrastructure to solve an extensive set of production, quality, and maintenance problems. This presentation discusses the use of RtPM software components to capture quality and process specifications and use them as the context for real-time production data. Real-time operations data includes data collected from automated and manual sources. Specification data includes the complete set of process parameters and quality targets. Together these two classes of data create a foundation for performanceimprovement. Configured together and accessed by various RtPM client software, you leverage “one version of the truth” for an effective, profitable solution to a classic problem.

Ray Hall is a Development Manager at OSIsoft. Prior to his position at OSIsoft, Mr. Hall was VP of Development for Sequencia. Prior positions include control development at AccuRay and process engineering at Evanite Fiber. Mr. Hall has a BS in Chemical Engineering from OSU and an MS in Chemical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara.
