Leveraging PI to Deliver Standardized Downtime Reports
Headquartered in Dieppe, New Brunswick, the Irving Moncton Group has plants, operations, and offices throughout Canada and the United States. The plants are dynamic, rapidly growing, and successful with diverse operations. Like other corporations with diverse business units, interestsvary but units have common goals and IT infrastructure, including a corporate PI System. The push for continuous improvement led engineering and IT to seek a solution for corporate downtime reporting, critical to improving plant efficiency. Working with ADM Systems Engineering, anOSIsoft Business Partner, they were able to leverage their investment in RtAnalytics to deliver standardized downtime reporting.

Keith Flynn is a professional engineer with a computer science background. For the last 12 years he has worked in automation, process control and data management, developing applications for industry. Mr. Flynn has led an ADM team through five projects utilizing PI for the automated delivery of downtime and KPI reports.
