Evolution of PI in an Expanding Utility’s Strategy
This presentation will discuss how KeySpan and the Utility Industry is changing and how we have leveraged existing infrastructure with PI to create a Powerful Information and Analysis Engine used throughout the Corporation. These tools are used at all levels in our company from contract workers in the field, control rooms, traders, and finally our Vice President. We are sculpting custom solutions to our customers’ needs everyday and our system architecture is flexible enough to adapt to new and emerging technologies. Recent triumphs include: Performance AssessmentCenter, Mini Pacs, Ravenswood Information Center, Turbine Performance Monitoring Tools, UDG Performance Tracking, and Start-up Monitoring.

He holds both a Master of Science in Industrial Management and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
