Rhodia is one of the world’s leaders in specialty chemicals, providing products and services to the automobile, health care, fragrance, apparel, electronics, personal care, and environmental markets. Rhodia generated net sales of 5.2 billion euros in 2004 and employs 20,000 people worldwide. This presentation will discuss how Rhodia has been using OSIsoft products to improve their processes and measure benefits within one of their Lyon plants. Mr. Pierotti will detail specific examples of how these improved processes have, within a short time frame, added value to theiroverall business and generated $$ savings.

Jean-Marc Pierotti has been working for 20 years in the area of manufacturing IT. He has implemented several MES applications and is now responsible for the department in charge of software development for MES and for Process Engineering. He has a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering from the University of Grenoble.
