Condition-Based Maintenance Across the Enterprise

Maintenance has evolved over the years from simply reacting to machinery breakdowns, to performing time-base Preventive Maintenance work orders, to today’s emphasis on the ability to detect early forms of degradation in predictive, condition-based maintenance. This presentation will described how the RtPM Platform can be configured to provide real-time maintenance alerts which lead decision-makers to an integrated information center that enables concise decisionmaking and is capable of automated work order generation.

Curt Hertler

Curt Hertler is a Platform Strategist with OSIsoft. Prior to this role, he established and managed the OSIsoft Developers Network. Before joining OSIsoft, he spent 19 years in the petroleum refining industry working for Marathon Oil and British Petroleum. He has held positions in process engineering, advanced control and optimization, and capital planning. He served five years on the National Petroleum Refiners Association Computer Applications Committee. He graduated with a BS and MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Ann Moore

Ann Moore joined OSIsoft this year as a Business Development Executive, focusing on expanding OSIsoft’s business in China. Prior to this she had worked for San Diego Gas & Electric for 17 years. She was in charge of the software development and support for SDG&E’s Grid Operations real-time control Energy Management System (EMS). In this capacity, she also managed all EMS system-related projects, including PI. She graduated from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, with an MS degree in Computer Engineering.
