An Innovative Solution for Business Intelligence: A Story that Includes Strategic Partnerships, Data Integration, Storage, and Visualization
Project Seer represents a strategic partnership effort between a major Oil and Gas company, Microsoft, OSIsoft, Conchango, and Capula with a specific focus on enterprise architecture, providing a platform for integrated safety, base business, and costs data. The developed solution is based on a Service Oriented Business Intelligence framework (SoBI). This innovative solution to data integration for business intelligence is a key part of this project. Real-time information, down to the individual producing well, pump, and diesel tank involved in the lifting of oil from the ground is provided by OSIsoft’s RtPM Platform, integrated closely through Sharepoint Services to the portal.
