The Value of $CADA Data
From its pilot implementation three years prior, to today’s production system, PI has proven its value in several key business areas of Enbridge Pipelines Inc. During this time, PI has been instrumental in energy contract negotiations, invoice authentication and research and development. It is becoming increasingly important in the areas of SCADA system evolution, pipeline operations and government regulations. This presentation explores the tangible and intangible values of PI realized throughout the organization as it pertains to Energy Management, Oil loss accounting, Operations, and the evolution of our SCADA system.

Mark joined Enbridge Pipelines’ SCADA Services group three years ago with an Industrial Systems Engineering degree. During this time, Mark has played a key role in the support, development and implementation of PI at Enbridge. Currently, he is the project manager and technical lead of the production implementation of PI.
