PI-AutoPointSync and PI-Interface Configuration Utility

PI-AutoPointSync (PI-APS) is a service that allows PI Interface and PI UDS COM Connector users to automatically synchronize the PI Point database with DCS point definitions. PI-APS is comprised of three parts, a synchronization engine that schedules and runs synchronization loops, a configuration utility, and an APS Connector specific to the PI Interface or PI UDS COM Connector. PI-APS allows users to configure whether each PI attribute for each PI Point is to receive updates. It also has the ability to locate new DCS points and create corresponding PI Points.
