Users Conference 2002

Entergy Nuclear Operations

Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station implemented a PI server using PI ProcessBook, PI DataLink and ODBC interfaces. Pilgrim immediately began to see efficiencies in monitoring and trending functions for management and plant engineers. In fact, we began to receive a return on our investment before the PI System was officially rolled out for general use. This presentation will explore how our implementation has supported monitoring and trending during normal operation, refueling outages and instrument calibrations.
