Ending Keynote: Introducing Foundation: The RtPM Integration Infrastructure

This talk will introduce and outline an exciting new development at OSIsoft, the advent of the Foundation project. Foundation enhances existing software within the RtPM Platform, such as the PI System, with a plant or enterprise-wide physical model that will allow you to organize real-time information from PI points as well as structured information from other systems, such as laboratory and maintenance systems. Foundation will enable the creation of valuable business solutions by exposing asset-related information as an object model, allowing companies to leverage existing systems seamlessly within OSIsoft and other applications. Foundation will allow these solutions to integrate with RtPortal through web services, further delivering on OSIsoft’s goal to be the best-in-class provider of a data aggregation and information transparency platform.
