This year's User Conference will be held in Amsterdam, Netherlands. We have a room block at the Moevenpick Hotel at Amsterdam City Centre. You can reserve a room through our room block when you register for the User Conference. The Moevenpick Hotel is located on the waters' edge, yet is within walking distance from the old center of Amsterdam and the Central Station. Located in the heart of the city, the hotel is easily accessible by public transport or car.

The city centre, canals and museums are only a ten-minute walk or five-minute tram ride from the hotel. Canal boats and water taxis stop in front of the hotel.

The hotel has 408 non-smoking rooms, equipped to the very latest standards. All rooms offer spectacular views over the river and city. At your disposal are a range of four-star facilities: free WiFi internet access, a laptop-sized safe, a minibar, satellite TV and 24-hour room service. Rooms have either a king size bed or two single beds, and a spacious bathroom with toilet, bath and shower (or shower only).

Adjacent to the hotel is the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam, where many of the User Conference events will be held, and the new Muziekgebouw (Concert Hall) and Bimhuis which has been ranked as one of the world's most renowned jazz clubs.

Travel Information

There are many ways to get to Amsterdam. The Moevenpick Hotel is 18 km
from the Schiphol Airport. The hotel is located 1km from City Center.

Taxi Service
Taxis are available outside the terminal. Journey time to central Amsterdam is 25-30 minutes. Fares are between € 40 and € 60. Credit cards are accepted.

Train Service
There is a direct train service from Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam Central Station. Trains run every 10 to 15 minutes with a journey time of between 15 and 20 minutes depending on the service. Fares are 1st Class one way-€ 5.90, Round trip € 10.10; 2nd Class-€ 3.60, Round trip € 6.20. The Airport Station is connected to the terminal building for a quick transfer.

Bus Service
There is regular bus service from Schiphol to Amsterdam City. Buses pick up from the stop in front of Schiphol Plaza. KLM operates a half hourly service from the airport to a number of Amsterdam hotels.

Parking
For those driving to the conference, there is self-parking available under the hotel. You will be responsible for these charges. The conference does not validate parking. The cost is € 3.00 per hour with a maximum of € 30.00 per day.
