The Analytics is designed to help easily create and implement advanced calculations throughout the enterprise. Metrics built into the Analytics are available in real-time assuring users that operations are meeting objectives, informing them about possible business opportunities or alerting them to issues that require attention. Users of the Analytics can analyze, combine, relate, reduce, and resolve raw data into compelling information relevant to their role.
The Analytics connects to many other non-real-time data systems - to operations information, financial systems, maintenance systems, material management systems, scheduling, relational databases, or any other information source available within Microsoft Visual Studio.NET™ or the Server. Some of the tasks that can be undertaken with the Analytics include predictive equipment models, equipment performance metrics, what-if analyses, downtime monitoring, material and energy transfers, just-in-time condition-based reporting, and more. The Visual Studio.NET environment enables the Analytics to communicate with email, pagers, and handheld devices.
